Dirma - Empowering Sports Clubs Through Targeted Email Ads

Dirma is an innovative online platform designed to empower club members to raise funds for their associations by opting in to targeted email ads. As part of the creation team at EC Solutions, I took on the role of Senior Designer, helping shape Dirma from the ground up for an early-stage startup.

1. Branding

We started by defining Dirma’s brand identity. It was crucial that the brand resonated with sports clubs and exuded trust and reliability. From the logo to the color palette, every element was designed to communicate the platform’s mission and values.

2. User interviews

Talking to potential users was a game-changer. We conducted user interviews to gain insights directly from sports club members and administrators. Their feedback shed light on their pain points and highlighted what features they really needed.

3. User Flows & Wireframing

We mapped out user journeys to create an intuitive and smooth experience. We wanted users to receive and answer ads effortlessly, which meant carefully planning each interaction and making sure it aligned with user goals.

We then moved on to wireframing to lay out the skeletal structure of the platform. This step was crucial for identifying and resolving issues before moving to the visual phase.

 

4. UI Design

To attract and engage potential users, we also worked on various marketing materials. From email templates to social media graphics, every piece was designed to convey the benefits of Dirma and encourage sports clubs to join the platform.

Results

Dirma has turned out to be a success, helping numerous sports clubs boost their revenue through member-driven email ads. The change from homemade processes to a fully automated platform has help scale it up, and thanks to the user-centric design, signups have steadily increased. 

By combining thoughtful design with a great concept, Dirma has turned into a real game-changer for associations looking to fundraise in innovative ways.
