Target market
Parents of school-aged kids, school administrators
Challenge
Upraised needed me to create a branding identity that would appeal both to parents and teaching institutions, and a graphic style that would make learning engaging.
Solution
I designed a logo and brand style with bright happy elements. I applied this to their marketing, the UI of their webapp, and then developed a styleguide that allowed them to easily create appealing and cohesive educational material for their lessons.
Process
1. Information Gathering
Talking to the organization’s founders, I learned about their goals, needs and target markets.
2. Style Proposal
I came up with 2 distinct solutions that would fit their case. In discussions with stakeholders, we determined the best candiddate and I worked on refining it,
3. Branding
I built the brand elements: logo, typography and colors and documented them in a comprehensive styleguide.
4. Implementation
I generated UI elements consistent with their identity, and created a UI styleguide for their developers to follow.
I also created elements and styles that could be applied to their math course material.
